  the hotel is a castle very quite in a middle of wine fields very nice

  internet is not free of charges as mentionned in the resevation schedule !parking area whitin the hotel is just for tree cars, if you come later you have to park outside the castle in open space free of charges but not secured unless a video surveillance. telephone of the reservation desk can be heared from the rooms at any time.

  This was exactly what we wanted - the stay was brilliant, such a beautiful place. if you are going to Chateauneuf Du Pape you must stay here it is stunning!!!!! Dinner was great - so good we had the same starter and main course 2 days running!!!!!Loved it

  The castle itself is magnificient. The surrounding vineyard views are stunning. We agreed to upgrade the room as deluxe double room with a private terasse and direct access to pool was great for us with small children.

  Very friendly owner, great room and fantastic food. The architecture and location in the middle of the vineyards is simply .... perfect! Grand Avignon Golf Club is not far away.

  The hotel staff were excellent! We could not find a restaurant to eat at a nearby town and returned to the Castle hungry after they closed the restaurant and they sent for the cook who returned and made us dinner. Excellent service!!!

  Rooms were great however needs a bit of repair! Views were incredible!

  This is a beautiful place for a romantic getaway. The staff are attentive, the food is to die for, the ambience romantic and waking up with a view over the vines is divine......10 out of 10.

  Location is prime, the Chateau is located up on the small hill right in the middle of the vineyards,there is also a miniature arc that resembles the Chateau at the entrance driveway so you won't miss it. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated (period decoration) and the toiletries provided were attentive. Staff speaks perfect English and extremely helpful and nice. Definitely the place to stay for the whole french experience. There is also a swimming pool, but it wasn't open the time we were there (September). There is also wine tasting within the vicinity.

  Our friends stayed in the cheapeast classic room which was extremely basic, it almost felt like the little maid's room tuck in the corner, although the bathroom was top specs. We stayed in the room which was a slight upgrade, and it was a million times different, it was worth the extra 20EUR for the room. Breakfast is continental and quite expensive.The most disappointing was room facilities, there was no kettle or any warm drinks in the room. Our friend had to ask for hot water, and the reply we had was hot water is only provided in the deluxed bedroom, but in the end they gave her some hot water as she wasn't feeling well. Considering the room prices, I thought there would be provision for hot drinks in the room.

  It is a very relaxing atmosphere. We were there during the harvest season, and the vineyards were just gorgeous. Excellent scenery. Unique rooms.

  We had to upgrade our room because the "classic room" was tiny and felt like it belonged to the maids. Don't consider the Classic room as an option.

  The setting is beautiful and the rooms are beautiful. Very comfortable accomodations. The staff was pleasant and accomodating.

  The restaurant is quite expensive and does not offer may choices. .This would be important to know for a family with young children.

  Great location, lovely setting. Having our own ramparts to regard the view from was amazing!

  A little but spoiled by less than excellent service in the restaurant in the evening which was a shame as otherwise everyone else was great. Dinner itself was ok but nothing special.

  The setting of the hotel is beautiful, on the hill top in the middle of wine fields. It's a pleasantly tranquil location as roads are in a right distance so you do not hear cars.

  The hotel does not have a feeling of a french chateau, and even it's not so old as you can imagine from the pictures. The interior design and rooms are renovated in a modern stile but miss nice details and attention therefore making finally quite an average hotel impression. The WiFi supposed to be in the rooms on additional charge but finally the signal was so bad that it was impossible to connect to internet and the stuff was not able to do anything during all our stay.
